First, bravo to ex-CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson who may have been the only true unbiased reporter in the MSM. Unfortunately all that's left are a bunch of obamaphytes and left-wing political hacks who do little to report news and have become little more than mouthpieces for the Democrat Party.
Congress needs to have hearings over this story, as this makes Nixon look like a saint. Unfortunately, I doubt Republicans have the stomach or backbone to fully investigate this as needs to be done, since they're trying to prep for the 2016 Presidential election.
It was back in Spring of last year when Attkisson dropped the bombshell that her computers had been bugged after her relentless questions to the administration about both the Fast and Furious scandal and the Benghazi scandal. Back then she simply stated that when she took her laptop for a routine spyware check, she was told the laptop had been compromised and was being monitored.
She has recently shed more light as to what happened -- and it's downright scary.
Not only was her laptop being monitored, but someone in government
planted classified documents deep in the operation system. No doubt to be used for future prosecution by JustUS Dept Atty General Eric Holder. This should cause people to question any government claim against journalists - like James Rosen - possessing classified documents. How do we know they weren't set up like Attkisson?
Attkisson's source told her the computer was hacked into by 'a sophisticated entity that used a commercial, nonattributable spyware that's proprietary to a government agency: either the CIA, FBI, the Defense Intelligence Agency or the National Security Agency.'
The breach was accomplished through an 'otherwise innocuous e-mail' that Attkisson says she got in February 2012, then twice 'redone' and 'refreshed' through a satellite hookup and a Wi-Fi connection as a Ritz-Carlton hotel.
The spyware included programs that Attkisson says monitored her every keystroke and
gave the snoops access to all her e-mails and the passwords to her financial accounts.
'The intruders
discovered my Skype account handle, stole the password, activated the audio, and made heavy use of it, presumably as a listening tool.'
Attkisson says her source told her the spying was most likely
not court-authorized because it went on far longer than most legal taps.
But the most shocking finding, she says, was the discovery of three classified documents that Number One told her were
'buried deep in your operating system. In a place that, unless you're some kind of computer whiz specialist, you wouldn't even know exists.'
'They probably planted them to be able to accuse you of having classified documents if they ever needed to do that at some point.'

Akkisson has made enemies in the obama administration, to be sure. But bad enough to set her up like this?
"When the longtime CBS reporter asked for details about reinforcements sent to the Benghazi compound during the Sept 11, 2012 terrorist attack, WH national security spokesman Tommy Vietor replied, 'I give up, Sharyl...I'll work with more reasonable folks that follow up, I guess.'"
"Another WH flack, Eric Schultz, didn't like being pressed for answers about the Fast and Furious scandal in which American agents directed guns into the arms of Mexican drug lords. '(expletitive deleted), Sharyl! The Washington Post is reasonable, the LA Times is reasonable, the New York Times is reasonable. You're the only one who's not reasonable!'"
