Obama's Economy: Rising Inflation

Beef, chicken, pork, produce, dairy---all at rising prices! Yes we can't! We can't afford Obama's America!

And the stat of the day? 95% of all income taxes come from those who make $100,000 or more! We can't "tax the wealthy" much more!!!

Why do liberals not get it?? Do you think there is an endless number of "wealthy" folks to tax? Do you believe that nonstop spending is the answer to the economy? My tax bill was $2,000 two days ago, after I had ALREADY paid over $13,000 in federal taxes!!!

President Romney would've used actual business sense to turn our economy around. What we have now is a counterfeit recovery with doctored stats and figures to say that things are better than 2008 or the Bush years.

I just saw a commercial on Fox where the state of New York is offering businesses 10 years of zero taxes---trying to attract business to their state. So that means a liberal, Democrat led state understands that in order to attract good jobs taxation has to be put on hold.

Why can't this be applied across the nation?

Re: Obama's Economy: Rising Inflation

Not to throw a wrench in things but our problems aren't just Obama caused problems (though he has used the system that he was handing to do these things) the problem is the system within which we find ourselves. Crony Capitalism is the problem. Printing money from thin air is the problem. Centralized currency is the problem. Debt based appearance of wealth is the problem.

And, for the record, I am a capitalist. One of the strictest - to the point that I don't believe we are in a capitalist society and haven't been in a really long time. If ever, really.

Re: Obama's Economy: Rising Inflation

When the inflation averages are published, two indicators that OUGHT to be incorporated into the matrix that affect EVERY single American are :
Groceries - They cost much more today than they did 2 years ago.
Gasoline/Fuel Prices - In spite of the U.S. becoming the world's leader in this area (largely due to fracking) the price of fuel keeps creeping towards $4 a gallon, with some economists encouraging increased exports of gasoline.

Which leads me to hijack this thread.
Before the U.S. Increases fuel exports, thereby increasing domestic prices, mandate reductions in the price of gasoline in all U.S. states and territories to the levels held at the end of the last administration.
I know I'm dreaming but the free market starts at home, imo.

The free market is only the free market while companies are winning. Then when they lose, the tax payer gets the bill. If we truly wanted capitalism and free market a lot of banks and companies would have folded in 08. Privatize the profits and socialize the losses.

All the more reason we should have elected Ron Paul.

Deacon what are your solutions to fix the issues? I see you advocate zero business taxes. What do you think about companies that dont pay any taxes? Check this out

Shouldnt we put more money in the middle classes hands? To me that would make sense seeing as how they are the majority and all.
