Chapter 23

19: God is not a man, that he should lie;
neither the son of man, that he should repent:
hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken,
and shall he not make it good?

You are right He is not a man. But He robed Himself in flesh to become our salvation.

1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

The verse you quoted is not talking about physical characteristics of God but about the failings of man. Man lies but God does not.

Absolutely! Course you are meaning the Spirit that resided in the flesh right? The flesh of Jesus was not God.

The flesh refers to the sonship, that was not God.

The Spirit that resided in that flesh was and is God. That Spirit is also named Jesus.

When we recieve the Holy Ghost we are receiving the Spirit of Jesus who is God.

What or how much proof that proved all this you have said is false,
would it take for you to not believe this you have said.

Now to answer this comment. First off, you are wrong by saying Jesus did not know the time of his return... that is not what he said. Lets look at the Scripture as it is written.

Mar 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

He said the SON, the flesh, did not know the day or hour but the FATHER, the Spirit, knew.

Amen, Beloved: "God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself." Again, "For in him dwells all the fullness of the godhead bodily."

Sometimes, pentecostals (apostolics) sound so much like trinitarians! The body did not "manifest" God: it was his holiness (sinless life) and righteous works that manifested/revealed God!
