Well, what would you do if the Holy Spirit woke you up in the middle of the night and gave you a message for the House of Representatives of the United States Congress, hmm? You would obey! Right?
“For the past 2 and 1/2 weeks, the Holy Spirit has been waking me up in the middle of the night and preparing me (through my reluctance and doubt) to deliver a message in the House Chamber. That is what I did last night”
I think it's cool. Good for her!!! There seems to be an absence of prophets in D.C. Well, Mangun spent 8 years in the White House, and we all know how that went...

Nothing like having the house stenographer interrupting things about how Masons control the nation...
Interestingly, I noticed they had her taken to a hospital for a psych evaluation. Sounds pretty soviet to me... 'religious/political messages not in keeping with the Status Quo are evidence of mental disease...'
Is that sarcasm, or a literal opinion of yours? Not so apparent (which one) considering the other comments in this thread, as well as your dismay at the decision to remove a possible psycho case to be medically evaluated. (Not that some congressmen aren't psychos too, but that's not the issue here--those others at least have the social sensitivity or intelligence to not get caught in this manner--except for the ones who do thankfully get similarly caught, a rarity.)

On that note, I do believe that Sheila Jackson Lee would have been (and IS) a MUCH better candidate to have some psych evaluation's done. LOL

Folks need to pay attention to this: Marc, as an atheist/unbeliever, you apparently believe it highly likely that a person who makes a public interruption in order to deliver a religious rebuke to the 'powers that be' is a mental case, a 'possible psycho'.
This is the mentality that will not only allow, but support the persecution of Christians for 'mental illness', just as was done throughout the middle ages (they called it witchcraft or demon possession or having a familiar spirit back then) and in many communist regimes.

My response over in "Timmy Talk."
Edit. I later (just now) noticed the earlier post about how the interruption was not such an interruption, or she was removed before the speech. (Good emergency protocols, if true.) Of course I'm interested in what really happened, but the principles in Timmy Talk are valid, even if the news story was partially staged.

Haven't been there (Timmy Talk) yet. Let me say though I am not saying YOU PERSONALLY would want to round up christians. I am saying the ATTITUDE you have though is the justification for just that.
Well, she has certainly garnered some attention to the issue. It was pretty brave of her to do this, and certainly her words about a "house being divided" ring pretty true...
