Devastating Tornado Slams Oklahoma
Moore, OK......An elementary school takes a direct hit....many other structures leveled. Praying for the folks in these areas.

A mile-wide tornado churned through Oklahoma City's suburbs Monday afternoon, causing significant property damage for the second day in a row, as part of a severe weather outbreak that was expected to spread in other parts of the Plains and Midwest.

So far, so good, but it's hard to be happy about that when people around you are losing property and/or lives. I hope the people of Moore are all okay.

Miss Bratt, it is a huge relief to know that you all are ok. Does that mean that the storms that rolled thru your area might not have been as devastating as those that destroyed Moore, Oklahoma? How are my friends (the D's and the T's)???

The storms weakened by the time they reached the Tulsa area. I'm not sure what the rest of the night holds, storm-wise, but so far we've mainly received heavy rain and winds.
