Of course. Hannity plays the 'right' side of the false right-left polarization. Now all the media pundits will start to move the masses towards the middle of the road. The goal is to integrate the three countries of Mexico, Canada and the USA into a North American Union, as outlined in the NAFTA treaty. Look to hear more about 'unity' in the coming near future.

That is pretty close to my thoughts as well.

we need to create a better path for immagration. I would not give citizenship to those who are here illegally. but i would create a path to legal residency.

We also need to get all these kids who came with their parents into the system. We spend hundreds of thousands of dollars eductating them. it makes no sense at all to send them back to some other country so that country can reap the benifit of our investment in these kids.

We also have our legal immagration system backwards. You can get here and take a very high paying job but low paying jobs you have to be illegal.

We need to make sure high paying jobs are available for AMERICANS and open immagration for those intry level jobs.

Sean needs to evolve on this issue--along with a whole slew of other conservatives.

I (used to) like to listen to Michael Savage, but he always made me cringe when he referred to illegal immigrants as "vermin." (or worse) No, they are simply people.

This is the single issue on which I side with liberals most of the time. Conservative views on this have been very harsh and universally offensive. (Especially if you include your own personal morality and Christianity in the thinking equation.)

1. Make a way for illegal immigrants to return home without harassment or jailtime. Then they can reapply for legal entry and wait in line like everyone else.

2. Children who were brought here under the age of 18 or born here should be given citizenship.

3. Felons should be sent back home with no fuss/no muss packaging. Unceremoniously returned to the Mexican government. No red tape. No hanging out in American prisons costing taxpayers money. Just booted right back over the border.

4. Make it easier--not harder--for immigrants to get into the country for work. The problem of employers wanting to hire immigrants OVER American citizens has to do with their ability to pay them less. Crack down on employers who take advantage of illegals so they can pay less and skip benefits and you open up jobs for Americans. It puts everyone back on a level playing field, competitively speaking.
