Big Job Gains For Private Sector!!!
The economy has been steadily improving, but October saw a big improvement in private sector job creation!
Yes Mr. Obama, your policies have been effective. Albeit, the improvements noted today should have come months earlier-- if possible.
"Many economists would read a slowdown in productivity growth as a sign that companies are closer to maxing out production with existing staff and would have to boost hiring."

It's minimal jobs growth that doesn't take into account the job losses or the fact many of the jobs in the fall are seasonal. Low paying jobs. Many small businesses are not hiring.

And yet I read an article the other day that a company needed 20 truck drivers. And couldn't understand why people didn't want a job.

jd is smoking crack ,a local company where i live just told all there employees by letter that depending on how this election goes they will be laying off after, 30 to 40 people, if bo gets in ,because they cant afford this phony health care joke ,but the jds of the world dont care as long as their fantasy reigns !

Seasonal work. There is a recordable job growth spurt every year at this time.
If Obama is re-elected you will see this decline as well as with other job numbers. If the taxes he wants to pass do so, small business will hold on to what they have and stop hiring.

Jobless claims went down, retail spending jumped up, car buying took a huge jump, home prices have been rising-- listen guys! The economy has been improving for a long time and October 2012 is a confirmation of the sound decisions by this Administration to help strengthen our economy.

So...Why do we need a tax hike?
How do we know Obama's policies were effective to doing this and not rather a hindrance to faster recovery?

We don't know for sure. However, given the depths of the dire straits of our economy, most non-partisan economists could tell us that it is amazing that things didn't get much worse before getting better.
