Time to make Libya a campaign issue
I believe that it is time that Mitt Romney and the Republican party start attacking President Obama over the issue of Libya. We can prove that the President supplied military weaponry to rebel groups that were tied to Al-Queda terrorists and who were those who assassinated our ambassador. Further, we know positively that the White House knew hours in advance that there was trouble at the consulate, there was a drone present, reinforcements were only a couple of hours away at worst, and that the men protecting the ambassedor were told to 'stand down' in the face of aggression. The Libyan Prime Minister told us less than 24 hours after the event that it was a terrorist attack, but President Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Susan Rice, and the Democrats in the House and Senate blamed a video that no one had heard of until that time for this tragedy.
It is time to make this known, and remove the disgrace from before the eyes of the world. We are already perceived as weak, do we really wish to be seen as fools as well?

I love CR, but she isn't behind the scenes, she doesn't even know what the committee in Congress knows. There must he some substance to the charges, why else would the committee keep pressing the issue?

It's time for a reading comprehension refresher course.
I said that the Congressional committee that sees this stuff must have seen enough to ask questions. They see info that she cannot. Comprende?

Re: Time to make Libya a campaign issue
There are several documents that reveal the Obama administration failed to provide accurate support and protection. At the very least they lied about it being a terrorist attack by blaming the video. That was a lie, and they caught and are attempting to dodge the issue. It was very obvious what this was from the beginning.

Re: Time to make Libya a campaign issue
Interesting article from Russia
Quote:
Benghazi attack on largest CIA regional operation, Steven’s death collateral
What really happened in Benghazi was the result of long running US meddling in the affairs of sovereign nations and in particular in the Muslim world. An area they have shown time and time they have no clear understanding about and even less respect for. The attack in Benghazi was an attack on one of the CIA’s largest operations in the region. This is clear from the fact that Steven’s death was a secondary event in the attack on the compound. They attackers were after what was in the compound, not Stevens.
