CC1 Neighbor's in Boating Accident

Admin can you make this a sticky for a little while then move it to the prayer closet or do that link to the prayer closet?

I found out this morning about a terrible accident involving my former neighbors who lived across the street from me until a couple of months ago.

The parents along with their youngest son Sam who is about 13 were pulling their pontoon boat out of a boat ramp and entering a highway when another truck did not see them and broadsided them at 65 mph.

Both parents died in the wreck and although Sam was hospitalized he is going to be fine other than the horror of seeing your parents die.

When the doctors told him his parents were dead he pretty much knew. He had said he had been unable to wake his father and that his mother was partly through the windshield.

I can't imagine what this poor little boy is going through. It is horrible enough to lose one parent at his age but losing both must be almost unbearable.

Please help me pray for Sam.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Only You know just how to comfort this young man's heart

as he deals with this terrible tragedy of losing both parents.

Thank You for being there for us in all our distresses and pain.

Help young Sam to look to You, O Lord and show Him You will

not leave him an orphan, but will come to him and save him, in

Jesus Name!!

Wow. That's terrible! Poor kid. I will pray. Please also pray for my nieghbors. They have one of their kids in the hospital...she has been in and out for years. They are afraid they might lose her this time.
