God Respects Your POV

Your POV is sacred.

Imo?

Re: God Respects Your POV

Your pov is sacred to God for a very good reason,
and meditating on why will bring change that you
seek.

Is there any argument @ "Your pov is sacred to God?"

there are no wrong answers here, and I am not
presenting a loaded Q or anything.

Are you using the Merriam_Webster definition of respect?

I should have put Your POV is Sacred to God,
or maybe a better way to put it might be
Your POV is Sacred to You, and even God Respects That.
In a way that we do not; toward each other.

Amanah might help here; I won't be back until tonight-
-good to see ya!

I mean, brilliant! Respect was a good word for God,
But one may or may not respect another's Opinion,
And proceed to ignore that their pov is sacred.

Re: God Respects Your POV

Hmm, I came back to say that sacred does not mean holy;
Merriam and Webster are both dead, I think, and I dislike respect
for its human def-implies like some choice in the matter? But we all start
there, at respect, prolly. Not sure I'm even there yet, lol.

But respect is a good first step, prolly? Oh, I see the prob with respect;
your pov is sacred, but that doesn't mean I necessarily respect it,
as in agree with it or anything; but respect that it is your pov, yes-
-which might mean "run" to me.

I suppose your statement could have some validity. But I think it may be more important to seek God's PoV rather then putting forth your own.

Most definitely. You point out a diff in sacred and respect.

Say you have a baby, a toddler; a 2 year old. You have just built a fire,
in the fireplace, and he has never seen a fire before.
He has a pov about fire, that you cannot really respect.

You have a pov about fire that he cannot really respect.
You can explain fire, and pain, until you are blue in the face,
you attempt to change his pov with information,
but if you have had a previous child, you know that
you may as well be locating the burn cream,
because you know...what?

You know that his pov is sacred,
and that his premises cannot change until
he has experienced fire.

Re: God Respects Your POV

Was truth obscured to the baby?
He understood all your words.
Did satan cloud his mind,
so that he could not understand you?

Is there some possible way you could have explained,
to avoid an unpleasant experience? (for you both, surely)
