It's okay to kill newborns? REALLY???

Here's an article in the Journal of Medical Ethics where the authors actually advocate "after-birth abortion": killing a newborn baby.

"Abortion is largely accepted even for reasons that do not have anything to do with the fetus' health. By showing that (1) both fetuses and newborns do not have the same moral status as actual persons, (2) the fact that both are potential persons is morally irrelevant and (3) adoption is not always in the best interest of actual people, the authors argue that what we call ‘after-birth abortion’ (killing a newborn) should be permissible in all the cases where abortion is, including cases where the newborn is not disabled"

Wouldn't be surprised if the next step was genocide of the elderly. They'll argue to much $$ being spent trying to maintain their "quality of life"!

I only wish I could agree; maybe I can, at a different def of "too much longer," as I am only too aware of the instances of God allowing an erring population to eat its children, and can't find any reason for us to be exempt.

I am thinking about how the old gods were worshipped with sexual immorality and child sacrifice. The only difference is that we now use those pagan practices to worship ourselves.

I mean, if God didn't put an end to that, why would He put an end to this? In a historical context, we have come a long way, and my conviction is that this will be dealt with the same way, nothing new under the sun.

But there has always been a cutting point with God. I don't pretend to know what that is...

... but eventually when man get's too wicked God steps in and puts an end to it. Noah, Sodom and Gomorrah, Jerusalem being destroyed etc...
