Patriots vs Broncos

Less than 3 minutes into the game and the Patriots are leading already, 7-0.

Less than 5 minutes into the game Tebow is sacked as he loses the ball and the Patriots recover.

It's not looking good for Tebow and the Broncos.

Re: Patriots vs Broncos

The Denver team is smaller than the Patriots team. This makes for a lopsided game. Additionally the Patriots refuse to underestimate Tim Tebow. They learned that lesson the last time that they faced Tebow. The Steelers were crushed because they never took Tebow seriously. The Patriots give him more respect.

He had no offseason workouts, OTAs, and Kyle Orton got all the first team reps in practice. Tebow will be fine. He's already got as many playoff wins as Tony Romo.

The Patriots didn't accidently end up in 4 Super Bowls in 10 years (and I think their going this year). They are a better team than Denver. They shut down Tebow tonight, but NO TEAM is going to win when your defense/secondary gives up 5 passing touchdowns in a half. Denver is also playing without Eric Decker, so Demetrius Thomas is the only threat in the passing game and the Pats (who had a bye to rest and prepare) have got it covered from all angles.

Your post pretty much sums it up. Tebow didn't get any help tonight from either the defense or his offensive line.

They showed the first 15 games stats of three or four of the best QB's in the NFL and Tebow's record was better than all or almost all.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Patriots vs Broncos

I will not argue with either one of you. However, it is true that the Patriots did not play games with Denver. Dad listened to the game over the internet, and at the end one of the players interviewed said that they had to keep Tebow from playing. "He can run, and he can throw, so it was important to keep him from making any plays." That was the gist of the statement. That is not a team that is underestimating their opposition.
