New York Pastor arrested.

NEW YORK—Police arrested New York City Councilman and pastor Fernando Cabrera, pastor Bill Devlin, and five others Thursday morning on charges of “criminal trespassing.” Their alleged trespass was kneeling and singing two hymns outside the doors of the New York City Law Department.

The protest was part of an ongoing effort to overturn the city’s ban against religious groups’ use of public schools for worship services, scheduled to go into effect on Feb. 12. Before they knelt, the seven were standing with more than 50 people holding signs outside the building. Police then held them in custody for three hours

They're terrified of the Islamists and the ACLU. If they did anything like this to the Muslims, they'd be accused of being "intolerant" and have dozens of lawsuits on their hands.

The nerve of that pastor and councilman! How dare they try to promote tolerance for Christianity in America?

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Thank God they only got arrested. In other countries they get beat and or killed. Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters outside of America.

Re: New York Pastor arrested.

Let us remember to pray for those in America and Canada as these nations grow more hostile to Christianity. I am convinced that soon there will only be a few uncompromised Trinitarians and the Oneness Pentecostal movement that will be left standing in a few more years. Everyone else will have sacrificed their distinctions for a life of ease, and will claim that everyone will be making it to Heaven, because God just does not care about anything except our happiness.

Well, that is not entirely true. They were arrested for trespassing because "around 8:30 a.m., Cabrera and six other pastors sat in front of the entrance to the building, blocking the entrance". I would think that any religious denomination would be arrested for doing that.
