Top Shot
Anyone else here watching this? They're on their third season and it is one of the few shows I actually anticipate watching. This third season has a little bit more interpersonal drama than I normally care for (and the BIG reason I can't stand just about any other reality show) but the marksmanship is incredible.

I have watched all three seasons. I think reality shows are ignorant for the most part, but I do like Top Shot for the main reason you do, not a lot of needless personal drama. This season has had more than the previous two, but I still enjoy it.
Season 2 was my favorite. I liked how George (the huge sniper guy) was pretty harsh throughout the season, and then basically handed the competition to Chris at the end. Very, very classy in my book. I liked George anyway, but that was a nice touch.
I find it very interesting that women leave so early in the competition, be it from personal reasons or from losing eliminations. It is probably simply because of the numbers, there are only a few women on each season, so it makes sense that they would probably be out first. But I would like to see a woman make it a little further, maybe even to the last three. That is, if she is a TOP SHOT. lol

Well, you do realize that they are not eliminating women on purpose, they are getting out shot very very soon. LOL
Your right about George giving away the competition to Chris. I thought it was very classy as well and you sort of saw it coming when George's response to what he would do with the money was that he was basically going to buy lots and lots of guns.

Oh yeah, I realize they are not doing it on purpose. It is a combination of very few women being on the show and them not being as good as the men, so far. I would like to see a woman win it all, however.
Back to George, yeah, that was a great moment. George says he is going to buy a gun a day, then Chris says he is going to provide for his family. You could almost see George saying, "Dang it, that is a lot better than how I am going to use it." lol
I do think that George was the best marksman in that season.

You don't think Eve ever hunted or had to throw some well aimed rocks at predators or outlaws?

I'm positive the producers are going out of their way to GET women on the show. After all, a few babes with guns does wonders to attract more healthy red blooded American men to the show!

I watch it occasionally.

Re: Top Shot
From watching Season 1 and 2, it is easy for me to say that the women are targetted to be eliminated earlier.
Sure they fail out anyway, but the general attitude once they're gone is good riddance.

I get the sense that the women are usually pretty good but do not deal with the pressure of shooting with a camera in their face. Actually multiple camera's.
