Zero Jobs in Aug: BO Defenders, What Will It Take?

he US economy created no jobs and the unemployment rate held steadily higher at 9.1 percent in August, fueling concerns that the US is heading for another recession.

It was the first time since World War II that the economy had a net zero jobs created for a month.

While you all want to rail on Palin's lack of credibility to be president, while you bust on the Tea Party and Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry and while youb still believe George W was a bafoon, a moron and stupid, your guy sits in the White House and cannot steer this economy out of the hole. And yes businesses are sitting on large sums of cash and they aren't hiring and you know why? Our president scares the heck out of them! He admitted on the campaign trail to Joe the Plumber that he wanted to see those with money "share the wealth"! Why would I want to risk my money investing in this economy when it appears this prez is bent on taking from those who have to give it away on ineffective govt programs and failed social policies?

Even diehard libs like Maureen Dowd and others are bailing on Obama. I saw a segment on MSNBC---MSNBC!---talking about what couldve been had Hillary been elected versus BO. Can you defenders of The One just admit this has been a failed presidency and that these policies have made things worse rather than better and the lion's share of the blame rests at his feet? You know, "the buck stops here" principle?

Green jobs alert
Solyndra solar belly up. Obama gave them 500 million and not another 1,000 unemployed.

I am glad companies have cash. Many don't. It is very good. They can't borrow money and the banks will get rebuked for lending.
The other thing, no one discusses, when interest rates were high and cash was short, companies were very slow in paying their bills. Today, not so much. If a business does business with a company, they can get their buills paid. When the emporer took over GM and Chrysler, many companies got stiffed.

And to think we still have over a year left with this socialist clown, i shuddder to think of the things he is going to ram through and the people he is going to pardon in the last few weeks of his reign of terror.I wouldnt be surprised to see him empty GITMO and any other prison of convicted muslim terrorists!

Re: Zero Jobs in Aug: BO Defenders, What Will It T

BO's policies have not been succesful in creating jobs.

American-owned companies and corporations could hire more people, for the sake of the country. I have posted articles reflecting the money assets that companies and corporations have that are not equating to new job creation. They really have a share in this too, but the buck stops with the President-- for the good and the bad.

His actions stopped the country from going in to a free fall in the beginning of his term, but his policies have failed to bring the country to a place where everyone can see significant progress.

Some say that the from where we were, and from where things could have gone, it's good for us to be where we are today.

I agree, but it is not enough to say that well, things could be worst. Things can ALWAYS be worst.

The truth is that President Obama's policies have not created an atmosphere for job growth in America.

Maybe we'll see the effects of his stability-providing policies in the form of a platform for Conservative job-creating ideas to spring from. Other than that, the economy unseated Bush Sr and it will probably unseat Obama.

He has one more chance to get it right with his jobs plan that he will unveil in a few days. Let's remain objective in that maybe he will have an effective plan.

Still, I don't expect his jobs plan to do enough for enough people, fast enough.

Did you like Cheney saying that Hillary would have been better? Hahahahahha

They are trying to divide the Dems against themselves like when Carter was prez. Kennedy ran against him for the nomination at the end of the first term and helped Reagan's Repubs.

Gonna be interesting for the next year. Get ready for a long ride.
