Not neccesarily. He has a good jobs record, and a better economic record as governor then Romney. Even though most media outlets put romney as front runner, I don't think he has a chance in this political environment. Rick Perry to me at least right now seems to have the most momentum.

I don't see that harming him at all. He's really a moderate, conservative. I wouldn't classify him as a far-right conservative.

And I think someone described him as a "Conservative Democrat circa 1960". The party has changed quite a bit since then.
