Westboro Baptist Church to Protest in Joplin, MO

These people are terrible.

http://ozarksfirst.com/fulltext/?nxd...07&shr=addthis

"The controversial Westboro Baptist Church is planning to protest President Obama's visit to Joplin, Missouri Sunday.

On its website, the church writes, "Thank God for 125 dead in Joplin."

Re: Westboro Baptist Church to Protest in Joplin,

These people are really beginning to push my buttons. They are a scourge upon all of us who name the name of Christ and stand for His truths. They drive people from the truth, bar Heaven to those who would enter, and will not enter in themselves. They spew their vile venom while taking the name of our Lord in vain, perverting the way of the righteous and making the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme. I pray that they are unable to attend that or any function at any of the places where there has been recent pain, injury, or death. They should go to California, look up Harold Camping, and enjoy the next five months until the 'end of the world'.

I really can't think of a more vile collection of individuals. If there is such a thing as a "hot corner of Hell", the pastor of Westboro surely has one reserved.

Fred Phelps is a lifelong Democrat. He ran for Governor in Kansas. He worked very hard on alGore's election which failed.

Re: Westboro Baptist Church to Protest in Joplin,

The price we all have to pay for the right of free speech.
These people make it seem a very steep price.

I feel for the baptists. I'm just glad they don't call it, westboro pentecostal/apostolic church.
