New Mother's day Gift!
Eddie bought me an old fashioned turntable for Mother's Day. I'm listening to Dave Petersen belt out "Lord, I'm Yours" from the first Music Conerence on an LP. I just listened to all of Love Alive II - nothing like that old choir music!! This is my most favorite gift in a very long time.

Thanks!! I have a whole box of LP albums that have not been played in probably 25 years. I'm going through them one by one. Ha!

What a great gift! The only thing that would make it better was if it was one of those outfits that let you copy the record and burn it to a CD  I want one of those!!

Yeah, I have seen those, but this one doesn't do that. It does play ancient cassettes though, as well as CD's. I'm so excited to finally be able to listen to all this old stuff again - Imperials, Tramaine Hawkins, etc.

I've held on to a really old stereo system (1984) just for the turntable, but I think it's become a museum piece. A capacitor is bad and the part is no longer available.
Margie, I'm sharing your wishlist; I want the new turntable that records to a CD  .

I mentioned an "album" to one of our teenagers at church not long ago...."WHAT is an album?" LOL Still have ORIGINAL Oak Ridge Boys, REBA, and Kentucky Sr. Camp Albums! I'm Old! LOL
