SS - please review posting rules. You are not supposed to post entire articles, especially without giving a link or credit.
Also, I do believe the the Democrats were in total control of our country, via Congress and the Presidency for TWO years.
Are they blameless in your eyes?
And by total control, I mean the Republicans were powerless to stop whatever the Democrats wanted to do. They had a vote-proof majority.
Thank God that time is over.

While the Democrats had the majority for two years the Republicans used the FILIBUSTER over 90 times. The Republicans use the power of the filibuster.
The rules should not have applied to my post, it was an email that I received, but here it where the Michael Moore's Speech is.....
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/michae..._b_832006.html
For the benefit of some that may not want to go to the website, I reposted the speech below:
Speech delivered at Wisconsin Capitol in Madison, March 5, 2011
America is not broke.
Contrary to what those in power would like you to believe so that you'll give up your pension, cut your wages, and settle for the life your great-grandparents had, America is not broke. Not by a long shot. The country is awash in wealth and cash. It's just that it's not in your hands. It has been transferred, in the greatest heist in history, from the workers and consumers to the banks and the portfolios of the uber-rich.
Today just 400 Americans have more wealth than half of all Americans combined.

The rules apply to ALL posts, no matter where you got them. It is illegal to publish something in it's entirety that YOU don't own. That's why things are copyrighted, so other people can't publish them without permission. Did Mr. Moore give you permission to post that?

Re: Why do you have a right to your money?
Let me say this also, without even taking time to review the individual points brought up, yet.
Did those 400 Americans come up with their fortunes, legally?
If so, then the basic premise of this speech breaks one of the Ten Commandments.
Coveteousness.
Envy.
It appeals to humans baser nature of "it's not fair, someone has more than me".
What I have usually found is that those who are wealthier, made better choices, worked harder and worked longer than those who are not.
In some cases, it was not wise for them to do so, as they have sacrificed things along the way in their drive to be wealthy, but it was their choice.
Do you favor a world wealth tax?
Do you know how wealthy the US is in comparison to the rest of the world?
Do you want to pay taxes to the UN to level that out?
Ciao.

What do you think a "banker on wallstreet" is and how are they thieves?
