WANTED: "Hicky", "Blue Collared" Wannabes
It's a sad day when my GOP can't even recruit real West Virginians to speak on behalf of West Virginians.
Then, they stereotype West Virginians too.
Bring your beat-up John Deere hat and your hickiness to our Philadelphia casting call and you too can be a GOP tv star!

Re: WANTED: "Hicky", "Blue Collared" Wannabes
Obama smeared the blue collar wokers in his rant about clinging to their guns and their bibles. Obama promised to shut down coal mines in West Virginia. Think Obama can recruit coal miners?

NRDC knows there is no such thing as “clean coal.” Every single step in the coal power cycle is dirty, from the profoundly destructive mountaintop removal mining to the smokestack emissions, which are responsible for 24,000 deaths a year.
Probably the most public — and most quoted — statement from Obama on the issue came during an August 2007 campaign visit to Lexington, Ky. As reported by the Lexington Herald-Leader, here’s what happened during an Obama speech:
He said the country also needs a forward-thinking energy policy, and he alluded to his disapproval of the coal mining process of mountaintop removal.
“We’re tearing up the Appalachian Mountains because of our dependence on fossil fuels,” he said, sparking loud applause.
Earlier in 2007, the group AppalachianVoices said it had asked Obama about mountaintop removal and he said:
Strip-mining is an environmental disaster. We have to find more environmentally sound ways of mining coal, than simply blowing the tops off mountains.

The same confused man will endorse removing forrests and mountain tops for wind turbines.

The West Virginians aren't stupid.

How horrible JD It seems the Democrats you fuss for planted a totally fake Doctor at an Obamacare townhall meeting.
Quote:
Not only was Mayer not a doctor, Roxana Mayer was an Obama delegate, as Patterico discovered with some digging. What’s more, the Houston Chronicle apparently knew this and failed to include it in its glowing coverage of Mayer’s appearance

I am a General Practitioner. How long have you practiced? 4 years.

Re: WANTED: "Hicky", "Blue Collared" Wannabes
Really, you really want to criticize the Democrats about "plants" at town hall meetings?
Why?
So you can ignore what operatives from our party did to enflame the country?
So you can divert this thread away from the idiocy and inherent prejudice practiced by the GOP, displayed in their advertising and production of this ad?
This is akin to our party propping up Steele after the election of Obama.
The GOP is not that good at imagery, but our party is even worse at backing up our imagery with what we say we are trying to represent.
The laughter, the embarrassment over this latest flap would be non existent, if the GOP would major on being real, instead of the image of real.
As if they couldn't find a true "Joe the Miner" in West Virginia....

And so our party wants to run on a pro-job plattform in West Virginia, but wouldn't even hire West Virginians to star in their political ads portraying West Virginians!
Again, it's usually the image of real, hardly ever the real deal, when it comes to our beloved GOP.

Which party? You also have never used an ad agency. They don't pay travel expenses to go to another state and add expenses to run commercials. It is too expensive.
They used a camera from Japan or Germany. For lunch they eat Italian food from Pizza Hut which was out of wichita Kansas.
