I'm sick of the hypocrisy from this White House. They are outraged when a CEO from Goldman Sachs gets a big bonus but where's the outrage over this one? Both Wall Street and Detroit got bailed out, so the outrage should be evenly distributed.

Croneyism is alive and well from the WH that promised "change" and a different Washington DC.

Being that BHO orchestrated the bailout/takeover of GM, it matters. BHO goes out and blasts wall street bonus', but this clown is getting 3K an hour and not a word from BHO?

So where is he getting his salary from-- being that he is the "EX- GM CEO" and that he is currently earning $3K/hr?

I take the libertarian view of payscale. I think a CEO should be paid whatever his board and shareholders say hes worth. If its excessive the shareholders should dump the stock and make it a takeover target or vote them out and self control the process. If a CEO adds billions of dollars in market cap and profit to a company and gets paid tens of millions good for him. I think its great Rush Limbaugh flies in a G5 jet and Jeff Bezos from Amazon owns a mega-yacht and Bill Gates owns the most expensive home in his state. They all made their industries better... saving AM Radio from death, online sales as a viable business model, and making the computer go from being in a warehouse running in DEC-10 on a million dollar Digital Corp Mainframe to sitting here with a laptop on a wireless connection to even debate the issue.

Having the gov't prop up companies allows the weak fish to survive instead of being assimilated or replaced by stronger companies, industries and models.
