Post-Divorce: She Commands Angels

After her divorce, this blogger found the secret to command angels to protect her home ...

Yep you got it her uncut hair ....

-------------------------------------

Power with Angels
You have seen us just about anywhere. We are the long haired, dress wearing women who belong back in the 1800’s, right? Yep, that is right. See we haven’t changed, really. Women in our society has changed so much from modesty to immoral even. Not saying that all are, just saying that this is what women in our society has changed to. It is not we who are strange, because we have never changed. We are bringing classy and modest back.

However, this blog is talking about the long hair. So what does hair have to do with this and being modest? Actually it goes hand in hand. Many people wonder about it. Some even believe that we are cultest to have such “rules” to follow. Actually, this is n0t the case at all and I want to share the reason why I do not cut my hair.

Many don’t understand it, like I at one time. It took praying and an open heart to truely understand what the Lord talks about in I Corinthians 11. I learned that a woman’s hair remains uncut for a covering to her. This is her glory. Further down in the scripture I learned that her uncut hair also gives her “power with angels”.

After reading this and seeking the Lord on the matter, I loved the idea that my hair gave me power with angels. It sounds almost like a mythical fantasy. Some people think that the Bible does too, but I am a Bible believer.

I believe that I can command angels to do things, like protect us and I have. But first I wanted to say that obedience to the Word of God is very important. It strengthens us and humbles us all at one time. I want to share a story or two of a couple of incidences where being obedient to this scripture has made a difference in my life and someone elses.

Over a year ago I was going through a lot of things in my life. It started with my divorce and made its way into my children. The whole ordeal was awful, but there was a particular time that stands out the most.

I remember clearly the spirit of witchcraft coming against my children. There were a couple of people who warned me. One was a man of God who visited our church. Another was a perfect stranger online. They warned me that my children were being targeting and that someone was out to hurt them. With all that we were going through and the things that I myself was facing, I begin to really draw closer to the Lord.

At this point I was desperately sick mentally and didn’t know my way out. We were struggling financially and even spiritually. The divorce took it’s toll amongst many other things.

When my boys were sneaking out in the middle of the night, I knew that there was another force causing this. It isn’t normal for a 4 and 5 year old to sneak out at 12 AM when everyone else was in bed. I had enough and I began to pray against this spirit. I literally commanded angels to guard my home and cause whatever was coming against my boys to stop.

The next morning I awoke and when I tried to go out the front door, it was completely locked. I couldn’t unlock it for anything. Not even my crafty cousin could break into the door, because the angel of the Lord sealed it as it was the door my boys were going out of. This is one example of having power with angels.

Sounds like a good fiction huh? Wait, I have more.

There was a time when my kids and I were in danger on the road. With one lug nut holding the front part passenger part of our car for an entire week, I know that we had angels around us. After all of the clanking and grinding, not knowing where it came from, all I could do is pray.

There have been times where we were in the middle of a big city at 3 AM and we have had complete strangers show us around and guide us in the right direction. I believe angels come in many forms and the Lord uses people as well.

I know that the way the Lord has me to be and the Spirit that lives inside of me impacts the world around me.

Of course it is not me, but I have the same power as Jesus Christ, because I am His. I pray people see Him through me. He also told us that we have power over all these things. I love knowing that I have power with angels.

Uh, yeah.......wow.

The wonderful thing about living under a delusion is that you don't have to prove your outlandish exhortations.

She's created her own little Wonderland. Carry on, Alice.

This is a woman who's self importance has been so reduced by doctrine in her church that her hair is the only thing she has left anymore. Suddenly she is the little girl and her hair is the teddy bear she clutches to ward off the monster under the bed or in the closet.

So very sad. The fruit of an spiritually inbred movement.

I wonder if it has occurred to any of the "ladies of Pentecost" that their "look" is becoming more and more associated with the prairie-dressed women of certain polygamist cults? Will church members soon witness a clarion call from Pentecostal legislature for women to dissociate from the stigma of this fossilized social requirement, kinda like the knee jerk reaction to the hippie movement, which resulted in clean-shaven faces for all UPCI ministers and their subordinates?

The only thing that will fix the consequences of the last knee jerk is another knee jerk and who knows where that'll leave us.

Another problem is the notion that we need 'excitement', which also breeds the "ends justify the means" of many of our so called evangelists.
