Re: Brazil

As a result of the deforestation of the Amazon basin, a startling discovery has been made. Hidden from view for centuries, the vast archaeological remains of an unknown, ancient civilization have been found.

I am fascinated by things such as this. Keep us informed of any new info you hear of.

Here are a few links that are possibly of the same thing she is speaking of.

This link wonders aloud if it could be the lost cit of gold. That would be amazing.

Here is another link.

Re: Brazil

What's interesting to me is that the rain forest in these areas didn't exist just 700 years ago. The "lines" and layouts visible from the air extend for miles in some cases.

Now, I don't want to go on record as encouraging wanton rain forest destruction; but the fact that the rain forest is a relative newcomer in some locales should be included in any discussion on climate change and the speculated effects of human caused deforestation. IMHO.

Other than that it is pretty cool. You never know what will turn up when you go digging around.

Quoting from the article.

The structures were found in a region 150 miles across. Some were built as far back as 200 BC, while others date from the 13th century.

That is extremely interesting.

Re: Brazil

Is there a link or is something down?

How do we know that Sis A is really seeing what she says she is seeing without a link?

We need a link!

Sis A might just be seeing lines, in the dirt, diggin around in the amazon like that, .....

She might be affected by the heat and the vapors of the humidity....

Where's the missing link?
