7 dead, 20 wounded confirmed. Ft. Hood is locked down. Also schools in the surrounding area have been locked down. There are schools on base and parents not allowed to enter the base. There were 2 gunmen, one in custody. Not known if Army or civilians, they were dressed in military clothing.

I've heard reports of several different buildings involved: Public Affairs, Soldier Readiness Processing, a graduation ceremony, a welcome home ceremony, and a PX. The Ft Hood website is unavailable (overwhelmed I'd guess). Anyone know which building the shootings occurred in?

A "dome" where families of those due to be deployed, temporarily reside
or are in hold.

Ft. Hood is a large base, they are searching for 2 gunmen. There has been communication from people on base with Fox News.
