Renda,
Talking about making beautiful memories!!
What a lovely girl! What a handsome sweet-looking son you have.
May God's blessings rest on them as they began their lives together,
in Jesus Name!
We have six (three of each) adult children, who are married to their
original spouses. The youngest married ten years, the oldest married
25 yrs. The others, 13 yrs, 15 yrs, 18 yrs. and 19 yrs. These unions
have given my husband and I nineteen beautiful grandchildren, the
oldest 23, the youngest 1. 14 g-sons, and 5 g-daughters. All are SO
very special. We are there for wisdom and advice, IF they ask! We walk
before them as examples who they can follow until they learn how to walk
with God on their own. The ones we followed have gone out of sight. We
now are in the "lead" position. What an awesome responsibility!! But we have
learned to follow after the GOD of those who went before us!!
Someone is going to influence them! It might as well be us!!
As each of our children married, we received their choice as our choice.
We never think of them as our son and his wife, or our daughter and her
husband. we think of each couple as adults, who we will respect as having
their own family now. They will replace us when we are gone to keep the
family of God growing and continuing in this world. May all who come behind
us find us faithful!
Blessings,
