Don't you really mean: "Would it be wrong for a minister to preach against owning a TV and yet broadcast and preach ON TV?

Otherwise why would it be wrong to now own a TV?

My question is suppose a Minister didn't want a TV in their home ,but felt it was ok to broadcast on one ,would this be wrong?
You must forgive me as I'm not UPCI ,I'm just throwing out a question here .

I still don't see how that is supposed to be wrong? Why would it be wrong to NOT want a TV in the home yet preach on TV?

Would it be wrong for a target shooter to not want a gun in the home yet use a gun at the target range?

I didn't say it was wrong ,but I just thought I would see what others have to say.

Right, but my point is....it does not make sense. I mean...let me ask it another way...a police officer has a K 9...His K 9 is held in the kennel...he won't have a police dog at home in his house...but he uses one on the job. Is that wrong?

There is no sense to that. I mean I don't think anyone that is serious anywhere, unless they are nuts, would say yes that is wrong.

Here is the deal,I could understand folks prefering not to own a TV. or internet in their homes ,but sinners use all forms of media so why not have truth accesible to the masses?

Sure, but there is a difference between asking

Is it wrong for a preacher to preach against owning a TV and yet broadcast through TV
and
Is it wrong for a preacher to now known a TV and yet broadcast through TV
