Transitions-Never Easy, But Sometimes Necessary

I have noticed as of late that more and more posters lately have been talking about the reason that they have not been on as much, or even if they have been on they have not posted as much is because they are in transition.

Noun
1. the act of passing from one state or place to the next [syn: passage]
2. an event that results in a transformation [syn: conversion]
3. a change from one place or state or subject or stage to another

Transition is never comfortable, and usually is never easy.
As human beings we thrive on routine. We feel secure in the norm.
Sometimes God allows for us to go through transitions to take us from where we where to where he desires us to be.

I mentioned on another thread that I have been offered a new job at a new company with new responsiblities, & challenges.
Last October we as a Church started to go to a Seniors Center every Sunday morning.
Since then my Pastor has refered to me as "Senior Pastor." I chuckle at that.

I know that God has been speaking to me about a few weaknesses of my own as well.

What transitions are you undergoing right now?

One of the Minsters spoke of in generalities that the Church is in transition.
I believe he meant more than our Church.

Bro. Ron, I have had a year of transitions and God is still working out the details: job, family, friends, church, move...well pray for me as I will pray for you. Transition is difficult but in order for growth to occur...a must! But God is faithful.

Blessings, Rhoni

I would think he meant - transition wouldn't begin to explain what's going on in his life.

I'd like to hear the rest of what you started to say Daniel. Maybe we can compare notes.

I was just telling someone a few minutes ago that I'd like to enlarge a bit on the transitions I've been through in 33 years but it tires me out just to think about it. LOL. Maybe I'll try and make the effort anyway. Not to gain sympathy or anything like that but it might be interesting to someone or encourage somebody maybe.

I know one thing, that I'm a very flexible and adaptable type of person and it's a good thing. LOL!

I've had 33 years of transition. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Hehe.

It's been interesting for sure .... and rewarding overall.
