Women's Hair: Men Like It Longer

"Surprising Reason Men Don't Call Women Back

#2.Look like a woman. At work, conservative and structured clothing allows you to be taken seriously, but it's not exactly sensual by candlelight. Don't go straight from work in your power suit to meet him for dinner; rather, change into something soft and flirty. And try growing your hair longer: men told me that shoulder-length hair (or longer) is more feminine. Sure, you're a strong and capable woman, but think Scarlett O'Hara not Hillary Clinton."

It is interesting that longer hair is not associated with being conservative.

The other reasons given are also relating to femininity and showing the softer side.

So sensual appeal is another witness of the standard, ranking right up there with "if we only knew what witches knew".

I don't think that looking attractive is the same as being or appearing "sensual."

From a man's perspective - there isn't much difference

I was going to say that, but it's better coming FROM a man.

Yes, I realize that men can still like what they see even if it's in a burlap sack. LOL!!!! That doesn't mean wearing a burlap sack is "sensual"--even if some man thinks it sexy.

Obviously having short hair does not equate looking "butch", as Brittany Murphy (and Audrey Hepburn) clearly example.

I do agree that long hair is ultra-feminine, but that doesn't mean women with short hair can't or don't look feminine. It's the overall picture and attitude that makes a woman look butch.

Uhhhhh....those are NOT breasts. I am so tempted to post Vin Diesel's naked chest, but I will TRY to refrain from Googling him.

Exactly, Miss Bratified,

We can be attractive without "emitting" the spirit of sensuality
We can be "presentable" without having an unholy motive!
