Coop I apologize.
To everyone but Coop, please refrain from posting on this thread until Coop and I get this worked out.
Coop, first of all, I have been informed that the thread I opened caused you some concern and my thread was deleted.
I want you to know that it was not my intention to cause you any harm or offend you in any way. I was making a joke but after I hit the send button, work unfortunately called, I was unable to stick around and let it be known that my goal was simply to have a little fun WITH you and not AT your expense.
Cooper I am truly sorry and ask for forgiveness.
Admin let me know what had transpired and I took some time to reflect on the situation and make sure my reply was right. I don’t want you to think me unkind. However because of this, something has arisen that I need a better understanding of.
It seems when someone does what I did (open a thread discussing you in light of your many threads about the UPCI and its Standards), you get upset or offended. Yet at the same time, you don’t understand why we get upset or offended by you when you do the things you do. You make fun of the Standards that we live our lives by and believe to be both profitable and biblical. Coop, I have read for some time what you have said. I see ridicule, joking, and references that we are anti-bible. You ask those who have left us to “testify”. Do you know see that the use of such a religious term “testify” is offensive? You are comparing my faithful devotion to sin.
Do you not see that your antics are as offensive to us as I have been to you? I am sorry that I offended you. I am also wondering why you think it is ok to be offensive while being offended?

“testify”.
How was that offensive?
I did not even think of it that way.
Just like the blacks got offended at Pres. Bush we he discribed Obama as articulate.
*sigh*
Who would have thunk it?

Coop, is the word testify the only thing you got out of this? really?

reguardless. getting back to the issue at hand. You know full well that I am not the only one that has pointed out that your continuall drumbeat is UPCI bashing...reguardless of what disclaimers you attach.
Now considering this, are you still saying that it is within reason for you to be offended with me, but not for me to be offended by you when essentially we have done the same thing to each other?

Bush says Obama has long way to go to be president
Reuters
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush said on Wednesday that Democratic Sen. Barack Obama was an impressive politician but had a "long way to go to be president," as he weighed in on the race for the White House in 2008.
"He hasn't gotten elected yet. He hasn't even gotten the party's nomination. He's an attractive guy. He's articulate," Bush said in an interview with Fox News.
"I've been impressed with him when I've seen him in person, but he's got a long way to go to be president," Bush added.
In the growing field of eight Democrats seeking the presidency, Obama, a first-term senator from Illinois, is polling behind New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton though his candidacy has generated buzz as he seeks to become the country's first black president as well as some Hollywood money.
