Many in the Churches no longer fear God. They think if they sin there will be no punishment. Altho it seems to be true one must not make the mistake of taking that for granted. Has God said in his word he will punish those who sin in this life because of their actions or not?
14: But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
15: So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
16: Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly,
and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Rev. 2: 14-16
Yeshua threatens these false teachers with the sword of his mouth.
20: Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21: And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
22: Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into
great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
23:
And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Rev. 2:20-23
If these did not repent he would cast them into tribulation. He will kill their children.
5: But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
6:
Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
7: Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
8: Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
1 Cor. 10:5-8
These are said to be examples to the New Testament Church. Lusting after evil things 23000 fell in one day.
9: Neither let us
tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were
destroyed of serpents.
10: Neither
murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were
destroyed of the destroyer.
11:
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
1 Cor. 10:9-11
Paul says plainly these judgments are written for US to take heed who live at the end of the world.
Yeshua again warning his people.
19: As many as I love,
I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Rev. 3:19
The conclusion?
Yeshua leaves himself the right to chasten his people according to his will. It could be mild or it could be severe.
The teaching of today has banned the Lord from judging his people. They say he would not do so but would wait till he comes to settle sins commited. Some assume he automatically forgives sin and go on their merry way.
Oh friends its time to start believing (having faith in) the words of the Lord. Its time we took Yeshua Messiah seriously.
With the restored message of the fear of God will return the message of ceasing from and overcoming sin on a consistent basis. Saints will yearn for the perfection and holiness of Yeshua.
Many of the light messages now being preached will be discarded and Ministry will begin to fulfill its purpose to present every man perfect in Christ.
Miracles of judgment are still real today. They punish men and point them to repentance. They bring the good and healthy fear of the Lord back to the lives of those who take sin lightly. They glorify the God of Heaven when he becomes small in the eyes of men.
Love God. Fear God. You will have his favor.
