Church split
Please pray for my church tonight we are having a disaffiliation vote. After the vote the church will split into two churches one UPC and one Independent. Please pray for all the families that this split will affect and that everyone is able to act kindly to one another while presenting their thoughts.

This is very sad! My prayer is that no family is destroyed in this process!

Is one going WPF? I just heard about them cleaning out a church in Northern California, took about 40 families to start a WPF in the same town.

No, one will just be independent under no organization as far as I know.

So is the meeting to determine if the church is going through with the split. To divide assets? Or to draw straws about which group to go with? Either way this is going to hurt people no matter how many promises or hopes otherwise.
