It is hard to find a holyghost annointed organ , playing good old holyghost music any more. Are there any churches that still have a Organ, and really know how to play it.
The key boards dont raise the hair on your neck, like the older B-3 organs did.
I once saw a blind black man yrs ago play the organ. They had to lead him on the platform toit, but once he was there. he only use his annointing from there. It was somthing to see.
Who is the best organ played in or near texas.
If you are talking about HUGE pipe organs, then no, no keyboard can replace them, however I would take a good synth/keyboard ANY day over the boring organs found in a majority of churches.

(Although I DO like pipe organs!) ...just not as much as I like black gospel organ.
And I always prefer an acoustic piano to an electric keyboard. Both to play and to hear.

What is a "black gospel organ"?
About the only organ I can stand is one being played by Keith Emerson (Of Emerson, Lake, and Palmer), or a few other select rockers. The classic gospel sound sends shivers up my spine -and not in a good way.

Clearly illustrated in the first two organ clips I provided in my post. It's a style--not an instrument.
What I would define as "black gospel organ" is pretty much the same style as rock organ, applied to gospel music. (Except for the slow stuff, of course)
What is the "classic gospel sound" you're referring to? What you call "classic gospel", I might call "the hymn book." LOL!!!!!
THIS kind of organ music is really nothing more than rock organ, effectively mixed with church music:

In fact I think that the insinuation of "hateful" Pentecostals is coming mostly from the fertile imaginations of bitter, backslidden ex Apostolics who are constantly trying to find a way to justify their actions. ~ strait shooter
Now that's music! lol This is what I cut my teeth on. I still love, love, love hymns played on the organ. I'm a freak. I know. (just not many hymns in church worship, please, please, please)

God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. ~Romans 3:24 from The Message
