Me too. Everyone but me is in bed. I was doing some research for Sunday's sermon, but I need a break!!!!!
Quick, give me some juicy gossip!
Who's cheatin' who, who's being blue, and who don't even care anymore?
I'll put on some coffee and you can tell me all of the latest from the cultural Mecca of the Ozarks (Doniphan, of course.)
Cultural Mecca?
I remember when the only place there was to eat was the Tin Lizzie. (Unless you went to Poplar Bluff, of course).
I just linked up with Brad W. on Facebook. He was my boyfriend for about 10 minutes when I was a kid. Okay, it was a whole week of church camp at the Mo-Ark campground.
Ummmmm...
I'm boring myself. Usually I enjoy my own thoughts.

Ah, the Tin Lizzie!
That's where my graduation banquet was held back in '85. lol
Remember the old car they had for a salad bar?
That was a neat place.
Do you remember the restaurant called the Jonboat? It was down by the river, and not to far from Fred's discount store.
Anyhoo, the Jonboat had a salad bar that was, well, a jonboat.
That's where me and my sweetie went on our very first date.
I can't believe you don't remember Don's Drive-in. Don's, otherwise known as Plaza Drive-in, was THE hangout for all of my mispent youth. Arcade games, gooey chesseburgers and breaded mushrooms. They even had a jukebox!

I don't remember the Jonboat or Don's! I do remember the car salad bar.
There's some pizza place there now that's decent...can't remember the name, though.
