Some of my young neices (a few years back when they were young) were talking about the latest Disney movie (some "Princess" thing) and the related promotions. I turned to them and in a tone of faux sternness I said, "That's right! But you can't see that until it comes out on video!"
They immediately pounced on me with the "Yeah, and how come?" type questions. I of course had no answer that made any sense. Few of these issues make any sense.
The standard "official" replies usually have been a harsh rebuke and an angry declaration that if they saw the Disney princess movie then the next thing they'd want to do is to view graphic pornography! "It's a slippery slope between the two!!!" Especially for 8 and 9 year old girls.
