I FINALLY got a tree!

Well, the hunt is over. I finally bought a 9 foot slim prelit tree at Sam's today after lunch, and I love it! Actually it's still in the box; it weighs about a ton - more or less. We dragged it in the living room, and that's as far as it's gotten. It has 1400 lights, so I'm excited to get it up and see what it's like. It turned out to be cheaper than K-Mart, so that was a good thing.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Cool - I saw a 9' slim at Wal-Mart just now it was pretty.

I have a 9' slim, but it's not prelit - - it's perfect for my apartment.

Well, I have plenty of height in my living room, but not a lot of space horizontally. So it will be perfect for me too - plus less decorations required!

Don't be too sure of that...of course, I like to put my decorations "in" the tree too so it takes more than just putting them on the edge.

Well, I don't have enough to put them in the tree too, although I've seen that and it's really pretty. I just stopped here and decorated mine and realized that I needed just as many ornaments as before.

I cannot find about half of my Christmas stuff though. I can't find the stocking hangers and I really need them. It looks like I may have to buy some more; I haven't seen them in a couple of years!

What a fun time of year.

My five year old just whispered that she had finished and placed another gift. I asked her what it was... She said, "Shhhhh... it's for Jesus. It's got my heart in it!"
