Pray for my sister's husband
My sister, Joye, found out today, after tests, that her husband has colon cancer. She is devastated. Please pray for Earl.

Great Lord God, we come to You today, O Lord, on behalf of Earl and Joye.
You know who they are and see their sad news, their devestation. But, Lord
God, You are the ONE who took the widow woman of Nain, on the way to
the cemetary, with her only son. YOU touched the coffin and the widow's
sorrow was turned into joy!! Now, we know You can take Joye and Earl's
sadness and devastation and turn it also into great joy! One touch of Your
Mighty Hand is all it would take!
We humbly ask that if YOU would see fit, turn this colon cancer situation
into a MIRACLE, in Jesus Name!

Re: Pray for my sister's husband
I suppose they don't know yet how far it has spread? I remember this time last year when my husband was going through testicular cancer surgery and radiation. I just kind of went through it and survived in in a kind of surreal state. It was after the dangers seemed to have passed that I went through a crisis. Now, I put it in the back of my mind until he has a check up....which happens this month. I will keep your sister and her husband in my prayers. Please keep us in your prayers also...

I don't know anything yet. He fell on the floor in the bathroom so that's not looking good, IMO.

What do you mean? How is that related to the colon cancer?
Last year, my husband was building a privacy fence and when he got done, his testicle got quite large. We thought it was maybe a hernia. He kind of frittered around for a while (month or two) before getting it checked thinking it would go down. The dr said cancer as soon as he looked at it but did the tests and sure enough that's what it was. But my husband's prognosis is very good 90-95% chance of cure. What scares me is he's also had bladder cancer....it was a miracle they found that.....a pure miracle! He had a kidney stone that did not break up with lithotripsy, so they went in again to bust it up. While they were in there they just "happened" to spot it. Dr said if they hadn't, it would have silently grown and it would have been too late by the time they found it. I get choked up thinking about it. I am blessed to have my husband with me and in seemingly good health.

That's what I thought, Renda. Poor Joye. She's a year older than me and has always been such a little girl in so many ways. I hate to see her suffer.
