Obama, in my humble opinion, seems to be as close to being a Marxist without admitting it directly as a person can be. His call for "spreading the wealth" by confiscatory means is not a tenet I can embrace.

GW has certainly been a dissappointment on spending and recently on the econoimc situation in both instances agreeing more with democrats than with the concervatives in congress....

Things are really hot now and to be honest it is really hard to tell fact from fiction where GWB is concerned.
I think he will be much like Truman was. Truman went out quite dispised but with 40 years of hind sight, his stock is improving.
It is going to take some folk dying before GWB will be judged fairly.
being as objective as I can be, I think GW will go down some place right in the middle of the 2 term presidents. When you consider the difficulties he has had to deal with as president, on balance you begin to see things a bit different.
As for JM and BO, I agree that neither are great options. JM for me is just less bad.

And ain't that a shame, too! I'm appalled that voting for the leader of our nation comes down to voting for the "less bad" candidate, not for who we really believe is the best. And even hinting that one might vote for an alternative candidate brings up all the emotional rhetoric associated with "throwing away your vote." If I think about it long enough I might vomit!
