I asked this before a long time ago but cannot find the thread...can you folks give me the name of some other forums...Besides CAF and Just preachers...
I cannot log in on Good news...maybe I am disfellowshipped? I keep sending them e mails but get no response...
Thanks for your help.

Sis A,
RE: GNC
Have you tried to register again as a new member?
I may be incorrect, but someone mentioned (sometime ago) that was what they did, and they gained access.
I have heard of Godplace, although I know very little about it.
Blessings.

Sis A,
There is a way around this.
Go to yahoo. com or gmail.com and set up a new e mail address to use on GNC.
Then you can register using the new email addr.

Re: other forums?
I read sometimes at Rapture Ready forums www.rr-bb.com, but post there very little . It isn't an apostolic forum but there are a lot of prophecy & endtimes discussions that I enjoy reading. There are many nice people there.

Re: other forums?
The only other forum that I subscribe to is Apostolic Man, owned by the UPCI. Sorry, Sis., but I'm sure they won't let you in. You can view many of their topics, but only members can post and some discussions are hidden from public view.
It's DEFINITELY a boys club and they are very intolerant of anything that challenges the manual or the status quo.

well...since I am a lady I do not think I will even consider that club! Actually my husband and one of my sons were wanting a couple forum addresses...
I mostly write on this forum...sometimes on Just preachers...My husband has membership at CAF...
This forum is the one that suits me best...

I've been a member of that one for several years and have really enjoyed it (and still appreciate many of the men on it) but for some reason during the past 1 - 2 years, the gavel has really dropped on virtually all debate. Any thread that shows serious disagreement (even cordial) is quickly shut down. Now there is very little activity simply because (I am guessing) that people get tired of posting "amen" messages -and reading them.
Just my take.

Yep... my take too. It used to be a great place for discussion. Since Doug Joseph left as admin there's not much there that's very engaging, though. They are very quick with the lock down if anything goes against the status quo or even hints of disagreement with the sacred manual.
I check back once a week or so, but don't usually find anything worth talking about. Mainly just humor forum stuff and welcome so-and-so. Nothing with any meat.

I actually don't have a problem with the message official board policy being in strict alignment with the manual since it IS UPC run and more importantly owned after all. Their court. Their rules.
I just remember much lively discussion in days past. Bro Jim used to be a hoot when threads got lively (and took me a few months to learn how to read him -he GREATLY offended me when I first signed on as a member). I also (hopefully) learned a lot of message board etiquette which I (think) have carried over to other ones. Things like NOT quoting a long message just to add a single sentence or word of agreement.
