Anyway, I'm not sure 'what' the {legal) protocol for such nonsense is. Think of all the ballots that are already in print. Is a vote for 'Biden' a vote for 'Clinton'...???? Anyway, for this reason, I think that this also has a 'questionable' smell to it; so I won't be sending it to my Dem friends... Mostly, it would make that Saturday Night Live skit even more priceless...
I haven't checked this out on Snopes, so don't know if it's true. It won't surprise me if it's true since Biden said recently that Hillary would have been a better choice for VP.

Let me share some info with you that I have gotten from excellent sources within the DNC:
On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary. This is timed to occur after the VP debate on 10/2.
There have been talks all weekend about how to proceed with this info. Generally, the feeling is that we should all go ahead and get it out there to as many blog sites and personal email lists as is possible. I have already seen a few short blurbs about this - the "health problem" cited in those articles was aneurysm. Probably many of you have heard the same rumblings.
However, at this point, with this inside info from the DNC, it looks like this Obama strategy will be a go. Therefore, it seems that the best strategy is to get out in front of this obama maneuver, spell it out in detail, and thereby expose it for the grand manipulation that it is.

I have said as much, the Dems have far to much invested to lose this election. I look for Biden to be dropped and Hilary to step in.

Well, here's what I think: I don't think Hillary will go for it, but I do think Obama may try to replace his VP. It will hurt him, though--not help him. UNLESS he manages to persuade Hillary--then we might be in trouble. Short and longterm.

I don't think this is going to happen unless Obama has another sharp decline in the polls. McCain's convention bounce is over, the Palin hype seems like its going to be be a giant bubble............she seemed woefully unprepared for the Gibson interview to me. Obama has regained a slight edge in the polls.
