Should she have read the emails?
Should she approach her mother?
What would you do?

The daughter should not have read the e-mails.
Since she did read the e-mails - she should give her mother the benefit of the doubt and pray for her. Many times things are not exactly as they seem.
What would I do? Nothing except pray and let it go. It is between the parents and the children could get caught in the crossfire.
