How do you start a new thread i this forum? I heard today that Obama slipped in an interview and used the word "Muslim faith" instead of "Christian faith", when making reference to his faith. What do you all think of this slip? I ask as many think he really is a Muslim and not a Christian. Was it a mistake or a slip of the tongue. The Bible says the mouth speaks what is in the heart.
My Christian faith," Mr. Obama said quickly. "Well, what I'm saying is that he hasn't suggested that I'm a Muslim. And I think that his campaign's upper echelons have not, either. What I think is fair to say is that, coming out of the Republican camp, there have been efforts to suggest that perhaps I'm not who I say I am when it comes to my faith -- something which I find deeply offensive, and that has been going on for a pretty long time." http://washingtontimes.com/news/2008...s-his-critics/
I saw it. I dont think it was a slip. He was talking about his muslim faith according to those trying to suggest he is muslim. He was not suggesting, or slipping that he is/was muslim.
dude is a reform theology christian. has been for a very long time.
that means he thinks Jesus has called him to reform the world with socialism. (this is at least as scary if not more scary than being muslim)

Both his father and step-father were Muslim. I'm still reading Corsi's book. Lots of stuff there that doesn't add up for Obama.
yea, and my great grandpa was AOG. dont try to tell me I am a trinitarian.
True. At the same time don't try to say that you were not influenced by his trinnie thinking.
Does that make sense? I am wholeheartedly oneness, but I can remember my Dad making fun of oneness doctrine. It influenced me, damaged me, for years. And no doubt delayed my receiving the knowledge of oneness.
Osama can claim to be a 20 year Christian, but to say his Dad and the other Muslims have not had an influence on him is simplistic thinking. And without him willing to admit it and discuss his thinking in re: theology it remains in the land of the unknown and what is not known is scary.

Quote:
Columnist Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times asked Obama about his Islamic education. After acknowledging that he once got in trouble for making faces during Koran study classes in his elementary school in Indonesia, Obama recited for Kristof the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer.
The opening lines of the Adhan, the Muslim call to prayer, translated, read as follows, with each line repeated twice:
Allah is supreme! Allah is supreme
Allah is supreme! Allah is supreme
I witness that there is no God but Allah
I witness that there is no God but Allah
I witness that Muhammad is his prophet....
Kirstof said Obama recited the prayer "with a first-rate accent," and that, "In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it'll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as 'one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.'
