Healing at choir practice!

Thought I'd give everyone a break from debating for a minute and post a praise report we can all appreciate! Last night during choir practice one of our guys accidentally slammed his hand down on the back of a metal chair and broke his thumb. You could see the swelling immediately and where the bone had shifted. We decided to do a big mass prayer for healing and we gathered around him, praying for several minutes. You could feel the power of God in there and when we finished he said there was NO pain and you could see his thumb looked completely normal. He went on through the rest of the service, singing and completely healed! To God be the glory!

lol! our choir director said to me afterwards that it's sad that we (himself included) were amazed and almost shocked...this generation just isn't used to seeing what so many people used to see years ago. the blind eyes/deaf ears/folks getting out of wheelchairs. sad.

It's true. We're like Rhoda... praying and praying God will release Peter from prison and when he shows up at the front door we're shocked!

The Lord healed a deep cut in my finger the first year I was married. I was slicing cheese with a sharp knife and went through my finger. I nearly passed out looking at it... My husband wrapped it in a dish towel and prayed, and after he had prayed he opened the towel and my cut was closed completely up and the blood stopped. No stiches needed and no pain either.

wowsers! that's so awesome. don't have anything that exciting about myself as far as healings. one of the most awesome things i've experienced was praying with my friend's aunt one time. she has always suffered from severe kidney probs and was having bad pains that night at church. my friend and i were laying hands on her and praying and the evangelist said "Lord...we not only believe you can heal her pain but we believe you can give her a brand new set of kidneys". He told us to continue praying this prayer, really believing it. I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive at first. You see...she was only born with one kidney. Well we prayed earnestly. The next day she went to the doc. He did x-rays and was in disbelief...she had 2 perfect kidneys. INSANELY miraculous!

That's a lot more cool than my cut being healed!!!!
There was a man in our church healed this past Sat night. He had suffered a stroke or something, lost use of his left side I believe it was. (left or right... one or the other) He was in the hospital and they prayed for him at Sat night prayer meeting, specifically that he would regain the use of that side) And he did! That very night!

I don't tell that cut story often, because it's such a small thing. But I know I serve a healing God because of it!

As well as can be expected. The oldest was miffed at me for a while when he couldn't have his way...he talked about me to the middle one on and off (thinking I couldn't hear) LOL! The baby was sorta moody b/c he's not used to me being there and then he stepped in an antbed outside and had bites all over him...bless his heart. That did nothing for his mood. All I have to say is I ain't having mine that close together!

Re: Healing at choir practice!

Awesome reports. We had a man, in our church, die of a heart attack. He was dead for 20 minutes! His wife grabbed his ankles and said, "Don't you dare leave me! Get back in that body!"

His eyes fluttered and today he is doing some work in Africa. Leaves tomorrow and of course is taking his wife with him.

God is able!!!
