4th Weekend... What plans did you/do you have?
In light of all the not so fun threads on here right now I thought I would do my part in making some fun...... So... what did yall do yesterday or what are your plans for the rest of the holiday weekend?
We went to Firewheel Town Center last night and watched an awesome firework show and then today we are fixing to go out to eat and then just chill at home.
Tomorrow our church is having our annual Freedom Celebration at which we will have a Patriotic themed worship service with a Bro speaking who is a WW2 Vet and then honoring all of our military in our church... Then we will serve a huge dinner on the ground and then we have bounce houses and tons of games including volleyball and basketball and baseball tourneys lined up also and tons of tents with all kinds of games for the kids etc. We are looking forward to an exciting weekend and a wonderful way to further outreach our town and communities...
So what are yalls plans for the rest of the weekend?!

Well, yesterday we went to the bustling metropolis of Lamont, CA, and had a delish dinner with family and friends of barbecue ribs and assorted fix-ins. YUM.
We then played games (with dice, gasp) for a while. And then, since my daughters BF is in town for a couple of days, I let them have some alone time, they went to see one of the professional firework displays that was going on.
I went home and rescued my dog from having a heart attack outside with all the scary fireworks going on around us. It was a nice day.
Today, just hanging out with the family, probably get in the pool at my parents before the day is over!
**Side note, I have a cousin who got arrested yesterday for driving into a city bus while intoxicated. If you could say a prayer for him, this is going to mess up his life for quite a while, hopefully this will be a wake up call for him.
