The New Addition
We have a new addition to the family. Austin James was born 04/16/08 at 9:35pm, 21 inches long and 8 lbs 2 oz. he looks like his mother. But he's already acting like me, he waited until I left after being home for 3 days before he decided to make his entrance. lol

Over the past couple of days while visiting with my newborn son and hearing the stories of his birth, we could have had a completely different turnout. I was told that he had a knot in his umbilical cord and wasn't getting the oxygen that he needed, so much so that he was actually blue at birth. Thank the Lord he pinked up very quickly once he started breathing on his own.
