A discount store in Vancouver for almost 100 years had their annual shoe sale yesterday.
Jacqui Cohen who owns the store brings in name brand shoe wear (a few hundred thousand pairs) & sells them at crazy prices.
People (well ladies actually) take the day off yesterday to stand in line early in the morning to get to be like Imelda Marcos & wear out thier credit cards!

He can only lift his arm straight out. He started his physical therapy yesterday. His doctor did not want him to start right away, but he had him do some (climbing his arm up the wall) exercises at home. I know the PT will help him heal, but I am really dreading it for him because I know it is going to be very painful.

Sorry to hear of the slow recovery but at least he is headed in the right direction! Will continue to pray.

I didn't go to court for an insurance settlement (still waiting on ICBC) but yesterday I went to court on another matter & I

The thing is this store is in the downtown eastside & is in the worst neighbourhood sooooo if you don't mind bedbugs among the least of your problems--come on down, er, up!
