Any UPC churches on TV?
Does anyone know how the TV ministries are going now that the local UPC churches can broadcast?
I would think that at the very least that Alexandria and Stockton would be on by now. I don't see any reason why Alexandria couldn't be on world wide networks like Daystar. I saw some guy from Bastrop, LA on Daystar the other day and it looked like he was in his living room and the quality wasn't to good.
Does anyone know what the plans of these churches are?
I would think that Alexandria could find UPC churches all over that would partner with them to air their broadcast in local areas.

Re: Any UPC churches on TV?
i was thinking that the amendment to only allow commercials was defeated and that the resolution allowed full broadcasts. am i wrong about that??

We are allowed to minister on TV and have shows, if we want.
The resolution to block this was defeated.

I don't have time to look it up but I am almost positive that television broadcasting is allowed.
I am just wondering who is broadcasting.

Re: Any UPC churches on TV?
I guess I thought that with all the live internet feeds and such that it would be such an easy transition over to television for churches like Alexandra.
With TV converting from analog to digital it should really lower the cost of air time because of the additional channels that will be available. I could see a chuch of their size broadcasting all over their state and maybe even into our area in Mississippi.
