Just Spent Two Nights at Whitestone!

If you've never been to Whitestone Inn in East TN, you owe it to yourself to spend some time there! We just spent Wed. & Thursday nights there with the Butlers from Wisconsin. It was great to get to visit with Paul & Jean Cowell also; they are awesome people of God! (She is Stephen Hoover's wife's aunt).

The website is www.whitestoneinn.com, I think. You should check it out! Each room is different, with a different theme. They are all beautifully decorated and their chef is wonderful! We used to go more often, but haven't been able to lately. We are planning on changing that!! If you go to the website, go to the Osprey Room in the Lion & the Lamb building. That's where we stayed, but we've probably stayed in half of the rooms at some time or another. Jeff & Tami stayed in the Eagle Landing room. It's a fantastic, romantic getaway!

Thanks for the recommendation. Been thinking about it for some time. I knew there was a "Chambers" connection.

Ummm.....I've never heard them mention Mark Hanby, but that doesn't mean he doesnt' go there.

You could go, but you definitely need to get married first. We had a staff retreat there years ago, and our music pastor was the only one there without a spouse. He was so miserable all week that he declared that the next year when we went back, he would have a wife. And he did!!!

Actually MH lives over the next ridge of mountains out of Crossville. That place looks beautiful and should be an incentive for StMark to find that soulmate. He would have a large group just from the forums. Merced might not be large enough he might have to go to Fresno or Sacramento!!!
I know that all of our "clan" would come just to see history being made.

Great idea! The only missing detail is the "lady". Perhaps it will be like Isaac saying, "Father we have the altar, the wood, and the fire but where's the sacrifice?"
I believe the Lord will provide the "lamb" if we provide the place. Whitestone looks like a perfect place.

Would'nt that be great? We could do the wedding, then have a three day "marriage seminar" for the newlyweds.
