Are Insurance Salesmen Insured?
Rumor has it that some of them are driving around with liability only on their vehicles.
Shouldn't they have full coverage?

Most if not all states require auto insurance. I highly doubt that an insurance agent would break this law. Most agents get discounts through their company and they should make enough money to afford insurance.

Not so. I do not have any renter's insurance. It is $300 a year from my current Auto carrier. I had the coverage when it was $35 a year (after all the discounts) but changed to a better carrier for auto.
Also I am an agent, but not a salesman. Amway is sold, and car salesman are hucksters. I help people to sleep better at night knowing they are protected in case of the uneventful. Thankfully, I work for an Independant Agency where I can tell people they can take their stinky self down the street.

Whats not so. You rent your car? You lost me there. I also have an insurance agency. Although I am pretty green. I have had my license for about seven months and my agency for three weeks. Most of my training has been in commercial, mostly churches. Although I also have a pretty good book of personal lines as well.

Renters Insurance to cover the possessions in the dwelling I live in but do not own.
I used to be Life/Health/P&C and Variable licensed. I am now only P&C and I specialize in Personal Lines.

VB, the laws pertain mostly to the "liability" portion though right?

You are not required to have insurance that covers your on vehicle if you hold the title to it. You do have to carry liability that would cover both property and bodily injury of the other person.
Most agents will carry full coverage unless they are driving a vehicle that's not worth very much.
Again, everyone is required to carry liability which covers anyone they would be in an accident with.
Different states have different laws. I remember a time that Mississippi did not require any kind of insurance. That of course changed.

Wouldn't the insurance salesman always buy the best coverage for himself? If the salesman is selling insurance to others, shouldn't he believe in it so much that he would never allow his own insurance to lapse?
eh, Coon?

You obviously have nothing better to do than pick on people. This is not wise for someone who claims Apostolic heritage and wisdom from above.
You need serious counseling to overcome the anger bottled up inside. Let your light so shine, not try to put everybody else's out!
