sorry folks.

I posted this one the "blacks and UPC' thread:

Ok folks, I'm sorry my post was taken so serious. My intent was to mock the old racist mindset of segregated worship which existed at the time of the formation of the UPC. I should have added something to make that more clear. Do appreciate the response though if It was serious.

Now about me: I got saved in a PAW church with a black pastor, which I attended for years. Thad knows him, came out of his church.

I've been married to my black wife for 12 years and have two beautiful kids. Most on GNC know this and know I'm just mocking racism when I pull the chains a little.

once again sorry for not making my intent more clear and causing a ruskus.

Power to the people!

Truthseeker-
Your apology and explanation is accepted. While we may have over-reacted, it was because we stood firm against what we though was a racist remark. We are thankful this isn't the case. Now, with this behind us, lets go on and strive for racial and spiritual unity.

In my initial reply, I over-reacted by saying your post was shameful and that you should be banned. Please know this isn't personal and I apologize. We need to stand against the things that have torn us apart in the past and, my reaction was just that. Mis-placed, as it turns out, but while I over-reacted, it was done so in the spirit of preserving harmony and standing against racial division. May God bless you and your family.

I could see how my post could have been taken serious, so in that case you weren't overacting.

Thanks

Whew! Thanks for the clarification! I was hoping that you were kidding, but when we got no response from you, I assumed you were serious!
