Alabaster Box - CeCe

I haven't heard CeCe Sing Alabaster Box in a while and heard it on the way to work this morning - - - how awesome!

I know Janice has to be thrilled with CeCe's ability!

It's such a beautiful song and CeCe sings it perfectly!!!!

It is a great song and she certainly sings it beautifully.

It was sung (quite well, also) at a service I went to on Friday last week.

I think I've told this before, but when I think about being in heaven before Jesus, I envision myself singing these beautiful love songs to my Saviour with better voice than any one could imagine.

I hope to wash His feet with my tears, someday!

And they will be happy tears!

When it gets to the part that says......"You weren't there the night he found me, you did not feel what I felt when He wrapped His arms around me."

That is very convicting for sure - - - because who are we to judge how someone worships - - we weren't there!

I like to hear "the story behind the song"....

Janice Sjostrand was with us in services a couple years ago. In fact, it was there that I found out she wrote the song. She explained how that song was penned at the end of a message. She went up to the keyboard and just started playing and singing....and this is what came out. It's where you know it was God given.
